The integration of neuroscience and somatic awareness in our approach helps clients understand their nervous system, develop awareness about their body's stress response, and build lasting change from the inside out.

We specialize in applying relational principles with our adolescents, young adults, and families in order to build trust and safety - no matter the diagnosis. Providing many of our services virtually allows us to serve more individuals & families, and to be more flexible to meet our clients' needs. Our team is based just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, giving us the ability to employ a variety of in-person services across the metro Atlanta area along with our telehealth services. Individual therapeutic coaching sessions and parent coaching sessions are also available outside the state of Georgia.

Individual Therapy

Family Therapy

Individual therapy is a collaborative, one-on-one process between a client and licensed therapist, designed to support personal growth, emotional well-being, and mental health. Sessions provide a safe, confidential space to explore thoughts, emotions, and core beliefs while developing coping strategies and healthier perspectives. Therapy can address a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, life transitions, and more. Individual therapy empowers people to gain insight, build resilience, process difficult emotions, and work toward meaningful change. You can also expect your Healing Empowerment therapist to incorporate experiential or creative elements in sessions, such as mindfulness, art, movement, or role-playing, to deepen self-awareness and enhance emotional processing.

Family therapy is a structured, focused, and guided approach that helps families navigate specific challenges, improve communication, and strengthen relationships through understanding and empathy. Because family dynamics play a crucial role in emotional wellbeing, family therapy provides a supportive space for family members to express their emotions, address and work through conflicts, and develop healthier interaction patterns. Family therapy is beneficial for a range of issues, including parenting struggles, sibling conflicts, major life transitions, behavioral issues, and the impact of trauma & mental health conditions on the family system. By fostering understanding and collaboration, family therapy promotes a more connected and resilient family dynamic. Sessions will likely also include interactive exercises to facilitate real-time experiential processing. 

Parent Coaching

Parent coaching is a collaborative process designed to help parents strengthen their relationship with their child through effective communication, emotional attunement, and healthy boundary-setting. We are grounded in attachment principles and neuroscience; parents will receive pertinent, research-based psychoeducation to help them gain insight into their child's behavior and underlying struggles. We empower parents with concrete tools to develop responsive, empathetic parenting strategies that foster trust, security, and connection. Parent coaching is beneficial for navigating challenging behaviors, improving parent-child boundaries, and supporting children with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, or emotional dysregulation. Parent coaching may be right for you if you are outside Georgia, as licensing laws do allow therapeutic coaching across state lines.

Solution-Focused Therapeutic Coaching

Brainspotting

TF-CBT Sessions

Solution-focused therapeutic coaching is a goal-oriented, action-driven approach designed to help individuals gain clarity, confront avoidance, build confidence, and create meaningful change in their personal lives. Like individual therapy, this process provides a supportive, one-on-one space to explore challenges, identify strengths, and develop coping strategies. However, while individual therapy often delves into past experiences and deep emotional processing, therapeutic coaching focuses on the present and future, emphasizing practical solutions and skill-building. Sessions may incorporate cognitive or behavioral techniques, mindfulness, and other experiential exercises to enhance self-awareness, harness motivation, and promote lasting progress. 

Brainspotting is a cutting-edge, neuroscience-based modality that helps individuals process and heal from trauma, relational pain, and emotional distress. Rooted in the understanding that "where we look affects how we feel", Brainspotting uses eye positioning to access and release deep-seated emotional and physiological blockages. This approach taps into the brain's natural ability to process unresolved experiences, bypassing cognitive barriers to reach the core of stored trauma. Highly effective for complex and developmental PTSD, core shame, and relational wounds, Brainspotting allows for deep healing without requiring extensive verbal processing. Sessions may incorporate mindfulness, biolateral sound, and somatic experiencing to enhance the brain's capacity for self-regulation and emotional resilience.

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) is an evidence-based approach designed for children, adolescents, and their caregivers process and heal from trauma. Combining cognitive-behavioral techniques with trauma-sensitive interventions, TF-CBT helps clients reframe distressing thoughts, develop emotional regulation skills, and process trauma using a narrative approach. TF-CBT is a more structured approach (usually lasting 8-12 weeks) and focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns while finding and practicing emotional regulation in the moment. TF-CBT is best suited for clients and caregivers who benefit from structured interventions, psychoeducation, and skills training. Sessions also incorporate relaxation techniques, gradual exposure, and parental involvement to enhance long-term recovery.

Executive Functioning Coaching

Unlike traditional weekly therapy, family intensive retreats provide an extended, concentrated period of therapeutic work, allowing families to address deep-seated challenges, improve communication, and rebuild trust in a supportive environment. Through customized interventions, experiential activities, and guided family processing, families can make meaningful progress in a shorter timeframe. Each retreat is uiniquely tailored to the family's needs, with variations in location, length, and intensity level to ensure a personalized experience. This approach is beneficial for families navigating significant transitions, conflict, trauma, or relational dysfunction. Executive functioning coaching is a structured, goal-oriented approach designed to help individuals strengthen essential cognitive skills such as organization, time management, emotional regulation, and problem-solving. This coaching is particularly beneficial for those with ADHD, anxiety, or neurodivergent traits. However, it also applies to children, adolescents, and adults struggling with focus, productivity, or task completion. By breaking down challenges into manageable steps, executive functioning coaching fosters independence, accountability, and self-confidence. Sessions may include personalized planning tools, habit formation techniques, and experiential exercises to improve functional success in academic, professional, or personal life.

Sports Performance Coaching & Sports Injury/Trauma Therapy

Sports performance coaching is designed to help athletes strengthen their mental resilience, overcome performance blocks, and enhance focus, confidence, and emotional regulation. This approach addresses the psychological aspects of athletic performance, including managing competition anxiety, recovering from setbacks, and maintaining motivation under pressure. By integrating mindset training, visualization techniques, and stress management strategies, athletes can optimize their performance both on and off the field. This modality is especially effective when combined with Brainspotting, particularly with athletes dealing with sports trauma, sports injury recovery, or performance blocks.
